Daegu's exports rise in July YoY
Last month, exports from Daegu increased, while exports from Gyeongbuk decreased.
According to the Daegu Customs Office on August 18, Daegu's export value for last month was USD 790 million, marking a 9.6% increase compared to the same month last year.
The increase was driven by electric and electronic products (26.9%) and automobiles and auto parts (6.2%).
By country, exports to China (32.3%), Southeast Asia (4.4%), the EU (33.9%), and Latin America (9.7%) increased, while exports to the U.S. (-7.1%) decreased.
