According to Yonhap News,

On September 3, Gwangju-si announced that it will participate in the "2025 K-Food Expo" held at the Daegu Exhibition and Convention Center (EXCO) on September 3-6, operating the "Dalgbit Alliance Hall."

The "Dalgbit Alliance Hall" is a symbol of the food industry exchange and cooperation between Gwangju and Daegu, continuing since 2013. It serves as an exhibition space where the two cities build a foundation for practical cooperation and mutual growth.

Twelve representative food companies from the region will participate in this event, showcasing a variety of products, from traditional foods to the latest trending items.

Key exhibits include local agricultural products such as Mudeungsan watermelon, traditional liquors, kimchi, sauces, sweet rice snacks, confectioneries and breads, teas, and Namdo traditional dishes.

Participating companies will have the opportunity to promote the excellence and competitiveness of Gwangju’s agricultural products and explore new sales channels.

This year, the K-Food Expo is held with 225 companies participating in 426 booths. A variety of programs will be offered, including food product displays, buyer meetings, and seminars.

A city official said, "The Dalgbit Alliance Hall, where Gwangju and Daegu join forces, is a valuable opportunity to grow the food industry together. We will continue to strengthen the foundation for local agricultural products' market entry through further collaboration between the two cities."
