On November 11, Daegu-si announced that it will begin the sale of the Yulha City High-Tech Industrial Complex and the Geumho Waterpolis.
The Yulha City High-Tech Industrial Complex, located in Yulha-dong, Dong-gu, is being developed on a 32,460㎡ (19 lots) site. The industries available for occupancy include advanced manufacturing sectors such as electronics, electrical, medical, and optics, as well as advanced services such as information technology, science, and research and development.
The Geumho Waterpolis, located in Geumdan-dong, Buk-gu, spans 77,249㎡ (34 lots). It will attract industries in new materials, automotive and transportation equipment, electronics and information communications, mechatronics and optical technologies, and knowledge, culture, and information communications.
The sale prices for the Yulha City High-Tech Industrial Complex range from KRW 4.59 million- KRW 5.88 per 3.3㎡, while the Geumho Waterpolis prices range from KRW 4.13 million-KRW 7.18 million per 3.3㎡.
Both industrial complexes are set to be completed next month, allowing for immediate construction and operation of factories. Daegu-si mentioned that they are well-connected to highways, urban railways, and are located near the Geumho River Waterfront Park, making them easily accessible.
Applications for occupancy will be accepted on-site by Daegu Urban Development Corporation on November 12-14, with the final list of companies being announced on November 24.
A Daegu city official stated, "We hope that this sale will serve as a stepping stone for the future growth of the companies."
