DAEGU < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

On November 25th, Daegu-si signed an investment agreement with iM Robotics to establish a new autonomous mobile robot (AMR) manufacturing facility.

According to the agreement, iM Robotics plans to invest KRW 15 billion by the first half of 2026 to build a new manufacturing facility for autonomous mobile robots on a 1,649㎡ site within the Kumho Waterpolis in Daegu.

Founded in 2020, iM Robotics is a company specializing in the development of autonomous mobile robots and robotic automation solutions, with its headquarters located in the Seongseo 3rd Industrial Complex in Dalseo-gu.

This investment will significantly enhance the company's production capabilities for next-generation autonomous mobile robots and automation solutions, while also accelerating its expansion into global markets such as Japan, Taiwan, and Thailand.

CEO of iM Robotics stated, "Our company has been able to grow quickly thanks to Daegu's excellent robotics industry infrastructure and the city's proactive support. With the establishment of the new factory, we will take a leap forward to become a leading domestic robotics company that brings real innovation to industrial sites."
