On November 25th, Daegu-si signed an investment agreement with iM Robotics to establish a new autonomous mobile robot (AMR) manufacturing facility.

According to the agreement, iM Robotics plans to invest KRW 15 billion by the first half of 2026 to build a new manufacturing facility for autonomous mobile robots on a 1,649㎡ site within the Kumho Waterpolis in Daegu.

Founded in 2020, iM Robotics is a company specializing in the development of autonomous mobile robots and robotic automation solutions, with its headquarters located in the Seongseo 3rd Industrial Complex in Dalseo-gu.

This investment will significantly enhance the company's production capabilities for next-generation autonomous mobile robots and automation solutions, while also accelerating its expansion into global markets such as Japan, Taiwan, and Thailand.
