According to the DCCI, the total export volume of participating firms stood at USD 457,249 during the program's inaugural year in 2022, but leaped to USD 2,029,824 last year.

The number of participating companies also expanded from 10 to 15 over the same period.

In response to global e-commerce platforms increasingly integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI), the DCCI plans to strengthen hands-on AI training and introduce additional incentives for top-performing companies starting this year.

Jointly operated by Daegu Metropolitan City and the DCCI, the support program assists local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in broadening overseas sales channels by facilitating onboarding on Amazon.com—covering account creation, product listing, and logistics fulfillment.

Participating firms receive practical training in advertising and marketing, alongside consulting and operational cost support.

Sang-gil Lee, Executive Vice Chairman of the DCCI, stated, "Global platforms serve as a vital conduit for local enterprises to expand into overseas markets," adding, "We will strengthen support tailored to evolving platform environments so that companies can achieve tangible export results."
