Daegu Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority to Gear up Promoting Japanese and Chinese Investment

According to Yonhap News,

 

Daegu Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone (DGFEZ) Authority said on February 6th that it would gear up its efforts to promote investment from Japanese and Chinese companies in February.

 

The Authority plans to install a promotional booth at International Environmental Technology Fair 2011, which will be held in Japan from February 16th, and hold investment seminars for companies participating in the Fair.

 

Also, DGFEZ Authority will hold investment seminars at Fukuoka on February 15th, and at Tokyo on February 18th for companies in the high-tech components and materials industry.

 

The Authority also plans to visit electric vehicle and high-end bicycle manufacturers in Beijing and Tianjin, China for four days from February 23rd in order to sound them out on investment in Daegu and Gyeongbuk and conduct investment negotiations.

 

An official of the Authority said “we will draw more investment from companies in the high-tech components and materials industry and the electric vehicle industry by holding five or six investment seminars in Japan and China this year.”
