Warren Buffett toured factories of TaeguTec

The master of investment visited TaeguTec factories in Gachang-myeon, Dalseong-gun, Daegu City on March 21st.

CEO and Chairman Warren Buffett of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. visited TaeguTec the only company where the legendary investor makes investment in Korea on March 21st.

He came to Daegu on March 20th and spent a night at Hotel Inter-burgo Daegu, and arrived at TaeguTec in Gachang-myeon, Dalseong-gun in a Lincholn Continental, offered by the company, at 8:47 a.m. on March 21st.

Chairman Buffett was with Chairman Eitan Wertheimer of IMC Group and his wife, CEO Moshe Sharon of TaeguTec Korea, and Daegu Mayor Kim Beom-il and received a bunch of flowers and enthusiastic welcome from tens of TaeguTec employees.

Mr. Buffett walked through the factories of TaeguTec starting from the factory for product testing.

He nodded while listening to the explanation on the status of the company and gave short exclamations.

A number of reporters didn’t miss every move of the Oracle of Omaha, and employees of TaeguTec took pictures of him with their cell phones.

TaeguTec, which has not unveiled its internal facilities, prevented the entry of outsiders including reporters on the excuse of the safety and working condition of employees in the factory.
