According to Yonhap News,
Korea Research Institute for Fashion Industry moves to a new building in Esiapolis in Daegu. The research institute provides a one-stop service from development of fashion design to production of prototypes.
Daegu city said that the completion ceremony of the new building will be held on June 14th.
The construction took 2 years and 8 months. The building has a total size of 6,459 m2 with 4 ground floors. A total of KRW 11.5 billion was injected into the construction including 5 billion of public funding.
Korea Research Institute for Fashion Industry has been using the building of Korea Fashion Center inside Daegu Distribution Complex
A city official said that a new building will enable technology development and close cooperation between researchers and fashion businesses.
