DGFEZ Signed MOU with Relevant Institutions on Cooperation to Support Foreign Investors

According to Yonhap News,

The Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone (DGFEZ) authority inked a memorandum of understanding on cooperation to support foreign-invested companies and entice additional investment with nine relevant institutions - Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Yeungnam University, Keimyung University, Daegu Regional Employment and Labor office, Daegu Regional Tax Office, Daegu Regional Immigration Office, Daegu-Gyeongbuk Regional Customs, Daegu Bank, and Daegu-Gyeongbuk Regional Division of KT.

Under the MOU, they agreed to support foreign companies to deal with various issues concerning tax, immigration, employment, intellectual property right and even daily convenience.

The DGFEZ plans to draw further investment from foreign investors by resolving their grievances in a rapid manner in collaboration with relevant institutions.

"We have established a network to swiftly cope with foreign investors' grievances about management and daily lives, which will help foreign-invested companies in DGFEZ concentrate on management, said Choi Byeong-rok, director of DGFEZ.
