WEC 2013 Draws Young Energy Leaders

The 22nd World Energy Congress (WEC) expects to see young future leaders at the congress.

The organizing committee of WEC Daegu and the World Energy Council announced yesterday that the congress will offer a future energy leader program for young leaders of the global energy industry.

About 100 participants, aged between 25 and 32, from 44 African, Asian, European and South and North American countries will discuss future of energy and key issues during the program sponsored by the committee and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.

WEC’s committees in each country have selected participants from various backgrounds of government, industry, academics and social organizations.

Under the theme of today’s behavior for tomorrow’s energy, the WEC 2013 will be held from October 13 for five days.

About 200 attendees including Ministers of energy, CEOs of global companies and executives from international organizations will discuss global energy issues in depth.
