Suseong-gu, Daegu city will hold the third project for four days and three nights from today, as its medical tourism projects for parents of Chinese students in Korea last year was a huge success across the nation.

The third project will provide medical information sessions and check-up programs at three hospitals.

It will also offer various regional tour programs, including visits to the Suseong Lake and forged high tin bronze museum, and cultural experiences.

The medical tourism project, which targets parents of Chinese students at 45 Korean universities, was developed as a specialized program for Suseong-gu, and attracted about 300 visitors so far.

To attract medical tourists, Suseong-gu plans to continue and expand its project by building a global network with a focus on China based on cooperation with Daegu city, Korean Tourism Organization and the Daegu Immigration Office.

The project has been named as one of the four medical tourism projects hosted by the Korean Tourism Organization.
