Daegu and North Gyeongsang branch of the Korea International Trade Association (KITA) observed business consultations of USD 15.59 million at export consultation sessions with Indian buyers.
Daegu City, North Gyeongsang Province and KITA held trade consultation sessions with Indian buyers in Daegu yesterday.
Total 82 consultations, which amounted for USD 15.5 million, were held, according to KITA.
A large number of buyers showed deep interest in and purchased samples of regional companies’ products.
At the sessions, 14 major buyers including TATA Motors, the largest automobile company in India, Tractors and Farm Equipment, Escorts and the Future Group, participated in consultations.
Korean companies also welcomed those in charge of purchasing division from the companies.
Lee Dong-guk, head of Daegu and North Gyeongsang branch of KITA noted that buyers showed satisfaction for Korean companies despite their high expectations for quality and price, adding that KITA will provide continuous support.
