(DAEGU=NEWSIS) IT Convergence EXPO Korea 2014 will be held from August 27 to 29 in Daegu.

IT Convergence EXPO Korea 2014 is the representative EXPO in Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province where the IT and software convergence industries are concentrated in and about 161 domestic and foreign companies will make up the EXPO's 368 booths.

The display products are IT convergence products including software, 3D, mobile, smart work and smart cars.

The number of participants increased by 20 percent compared to that of last year and the EXPO is an industrial convention specialized in the future growth of regional small giants.

The Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning (MSIP) and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency have developed a software convergence booth with 16 relevant companies.

The export convention that is held during the EXPO will have 88 participants from 82 companies in 9 countries.

Other activities include Open Technet hosted by MSIP, a seminar hosted by Daegu Technopark and conference for developing regional ICT.

The 5th International LED & Display EXPO 2014 will also be filled with interesting products that represent green energy, such as LED lights and display products.
