(DAEGU=Yonhap News) The 2nd Korea Local Autonomy EXPO will be held from Oct. 29 to Nov. 1 in Daegu to increase the interest of the public in the local autonomy.
The EXPO is co-hosted by Daegu City and the Ministry of Security and Public Administration under the theme, Create Local Autonomy Together for our Happiness.
About 166 booths will be installed to sell local products and products of leading regional companies along with exhibition halls and food markets.
"The 2nd Korea Local Autonomy EXPO will be an opportunity to find ways to cooperate between central and local governments. The EXPO will also contribute to strengthening the regional economies by proactively promoting local resources,” said a Daegu official.
