(DAEGU=Yonhap News) Daegu Mayor Kwon Young-jin announced December 1 to create Daegu a dynamic city of people, money and investment by making the best use of our positive power and energy.

"We should think creatively, carry out proactive administration and respect the public. Only in this way ca we create a cornerstone that will open the future of Daegu," emphasized Kwon.

"Daegu has the lowest gross regional domestic product in Korea due to the weak industrial infrastructure, outdated industrial complexes and lack of new investment. However, we will become a whole new city with national industrial complexes, Technopolis, High-tech Medical Complex and Suseong Medical District," said Kwon.
