(DAEGU=NEWSIS) Daegu announced December 14 that the Jung-gu District Office won the best prize for community social investment (CSI) program.

The award was carried out to promote CSI programs and improve the quality of services including tailored exercise programs for the elderly and psychological support services for children and teenagers.

The Jung-gu District Office received high marks in providing information and accessibility, gathering complaints and recommendations and performances in monitoring and building relevant networks.

It is the district’s fifth award in the welfare sector.

"We will strive to make a better district by finding and solving blind spots of welfare,” said Yun Sun Yeong, the head of the Jung-gu District Office.
