(DAEGU=Yonhap News) Daegu City will invest KRW 25 billion to develop technological infrastructure for smart drones by June, 2020. It has been selected as a support project of the Ministry of Trade, Industry & Energy.
The city will build a smart drone control tower center, space for indoor flying and environmental test and development verification support equipment.
The drone cluster will increase the convenience of sectors including transportation, logistics and agriculture, enhance the capacity of disaster and safety monitoring and create more jobs.
