(JEONJU=NEWSIS) North Jeolla Province announced August 19 that the Jeonbuk Institute of Automobile Technology and the Korea Intelligent Automotive Parts Promotion Institute of Daegu signed a business memorandum of understanding (MOU) to carry out joint projects.

The MOU, which is to increase the competitiveness of the automobile industry in North Jeolla Province and Daegu, will build a development and support system for the next generation automobiles.

The two regions will seek joint projects and cooperate together to create synergy effect.

The two institutes agreed to find new projects, capitalize on the infrastructure and exchange human resources and information.
