DAEGU < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

(DAEGU=Yonhap News) Yaskawa Electric Korea Corporation, which signed an investment memorandum of understanding with Daegu City in June, 2014, will hold a completion ceremony of a robot center in Seongseo Industrial Complex No. 5 on November 10.

Yaskawa Electric Korea Corporation invested KRW 25.9 billion in building the first robot center in Korea on 1,500㎡ of land.

Yaskawa Electric Korea Corporation is the subsidiary of Yaskawa Electric Corporation, the world’s leading robot manufacturer with KRW 4 trillion of annual sales.

Along with Germany’s KUKA that has opened its office in the robot industrial cluster in Daegu, the robot center of Yaskawa Electric Korea Corporation will bring a synergy effect in the Korean robot industry.
