According to Yonhap News,

(GWANGJU=Yonhap News) Gwangju City announced March 14 that the 11th Solar, Wind & Earth Energy Trade Fair 2016 (SWEET 2016) will be held at the Kimdaejung Convention Center in Gwangju from March 16 to march 18.

The SWEET 2016, which is co-hosted by Gwangju City and South Jeolla Province and co-organized by the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, Korea Wind Energy Industry Association, Korea Energy Agency and Kimdaejung Convention Center, will be participated by 182 companies from 19 countries including the United States, Japan, China, India, Romania and Kuwait.

Under the theme, "Storage technology and efficient usage of new and renewable energy", companies specializing in energy efficiency will take part in the fair for energy-related seminar, workshop and symposium.

The SWEET 2016 is expected to draw a record number of overseas buyers.
