(GWANGJU=Yonhap News) The Gwangju Metropolitan City government and the Gwangju Chamber of Commerce and Industries (GJCCI) held a ceremony on December 21 to launch a committee to attract companies to the three key industries of automotive, new energy, and cultural content convergence.
Co-chaired by Gwangju Mayor Yoon Jang-hyun and GJCCI Chairman Kim Sang Yeol, the committee consists of 92 members from local political, economic, academic, labor, and social spheres.
Members will divide into enforcement groups that discuss ways to attract companies to the city in the three key industries by using local resources to their maximum potential.
