GWANGJU < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

GWANGJU, Sept 29 (Yonhap) -- 2019 ACE: Asia Contents & Entertainment Fair, the largest showcase where visitors can enjoy a wide variety of media / cultural contents produced in Korea ended on Sept 29.

The fair attracted 410 exhibitors from 32 countries, showing the latest visual and audio media contents including animation, games, character design and AR/ VR contents. Around 370 buyers home and abroad who joined on site business meeting session held for two days are reported to reach 2,284 cases of investment contracts valued over UDS 300 million in total.

With a special case made by Dong-A TV, a member of KCTA (Korea Cable TV Association), signing a series of MOUs on site with multiple entities from China, a total of 24 contracts have been successfully reached.

The city says "We're able to open the largest event ever in Korea thanks to many exhibitors who showed strong enthusiasm this time, displaying interesting contents up to date. Working closely with these businesses, the city will become the host of the show next year again, attracting potential buyers overseas and turn the place into the venue to build up global network."
