According to Yonhap News,

The city of Gwangju announced on Jul 8 a stimulus measure designed to enhance business capacity, mainly targeting auto-part makers whose workers have been furloughed for months due to the coronavirus calamity.

The second step which will be underway this year and cost KRW 5 billion over the next five years aims mainly to support the (sub-) subcontractors of local auto-component producers.

The support scheme covers a comprehensive range, which extends from quality inspection, accreditation, cost-cutting solutions to pilot products designing and testing etc. the city government put ways to improve business capability top of agenda.
