PTG and Bentech Frontier to newly settle into the city of Gwangju

The city of Gwangju struck an investment deal with two venture startups, PTG Inc. and Bentech Frontier, on Jul 30 in the city hall.

PTG, a mobility components producer, has obtained 22 patents for inventions of automobile running gears. They’re part of members responsible for military supplies, particularly specializing in high-performance motors. With as much as KRW 10 billion worth of investments, they’ll build up a factory to manufacture motors and modular parts, used in built-in type electric scooter, supplied to auto makers in Korea.

Bentech Frontier, a venture firm with 16 different portfolio of patent applications of anti-bacterial or anti-virus photocatalysis, is set to pour nearly KRW 7 billion into a new production plant to be located near the national industry cluster.

A micro-filter they made was awarded as the very first innovative product by the Ministry of Science and ICT last month.
As a financier of these two investees, Shinhan bank, who has previously signed an investment contract with the city government also joined the fund raising event.
