According to Yonhap News,

The city of Gwangju announced the formation of a business space in High-tech Molding Center located inside Pyeongdong industry cluster on Feb 7. The space dedicated to business activities for locally based molding companies will serve as a shared facility equipped with two international conference rooms, three meeting rooms, five information rooms and amenities. The rooms are furnished with webinar tools used for event management over the internet and interpreter consoles.

It’s reported that over a hundred overseas buyers who visited Gwangju city have stayed for two to three days thus far on average before the beginning of the coronavirus outbreak that occurred in 2019. Most of these guests, unfortunately, have had little space to share and meet with their Korean counterparts, mostly small-sized enterprises with less than 50 employees. Facing such underdeveloped conditions, local molding businesses have had great difficulty in marketing or business consulting to find global sales channels.

By making the most use of the existing facilities and equipment, the city authorities are planning to provide a full rage of support from product manufacturing, storage to marketing.
