According to Yonhap News,

Gwangju Metropolitan City Corporation (GMCC) kicks off investment promotion in business cluster located inside Energy Valley. GMCC unveiled its KRW 30 billion plan on Apr 1 to build the Valley on a 932,000㎡ near Daeji-Dong, Nam-gu.

The construction project, which has started its groundbreaking work since Aug 2018, is set to come to an end in Dec 2022. Average per square meter price of the facility is reported to be KRW 453,000.

Enterprises whose business falls into six categories-electric parts, electronic devices, automobile-trailer, electricity and steam engine-pressure controller and R&D are entitled to apply for the tenancy.

GMCC expects the Valley can help pool recourses to foster new business to drive growth in energy industry.

Taking part in this year’s Seoul International Electric Fair, which will take place on Apr 7-9 in COEX, Seoul, GMCC will jointly run PR events to let attendees of the fair learn more on Gwangju Energy Valley.
