Gwangju-si takes stride in investment promotion to realize 'City of Opportunity with Bright Tomorrow.'

Investment Promotion Joint Response Task Force in Gwangju-si had the first meeting to discuss the relevant strategy at the city hall on Sep. 22.

The meeting was joined by the Gwangju Free Economic Zone Authority, Gwangju Techno Park, Gwnagju Institute of Green-Car Advancement, Korea International Trade Association, KOTRA Support Center in Gwangju-Jeonnam, and other specialists in trade and economics as well as entrepreneurs.

The TF decided to offer investment incentives distinguished from other municipalities, tax deduction, draw up investment promotion strategies, and to cooperated in sharing information or cases, and in managing a program for training talent.,

In addition, the city also agreed on strengthening activities to enter overseas markets including the U.S., China and Vietnam, on leading the establishment of strategies for attracting investment and holding relevant seminars.

Furthermore, Mayor Kang Ki-jung and other city officials will participated in CES (consumer Electronics Show) that will be heal next January and to run exhibition halls.

The CES is the world's biggest advanced industry exhibition featuring IT, AI, energy and bio.
