According to Yonhap News,

In order to fill the vacant post of the head of Jeonnam Development Corporation, 11 people applied.

The corporation said on Sep. 27 that a total of 11 people applied for the position and they'll go ahead with the screening on Sep. 28 and interviews on Oct. 6.

After narrowing down the 11 candidates to two finalists, Jeonnam Governor Kim Yeong-lok will pick the one as the head.

In turn, head-elect should go through a confirmation hearing to be officially designated.

In a press conference, with regards to the matter, the governor stated, "the person should be equipped with relevant experiences and professionality and I hope the incoming head has the management capability of leading the corporation."
