According to Yonhap News,

Gwangju Mayor Kang Ki-jung continues his move to communicate with district office officials.

Gwangju-si announced on Feb. 1 that Mayor Kang is to have talks with the officials from five districts one-by-one over this month.

Starting off the schedule at the Gwangsan District Office, he will meet with officials from Buk-gu on Feb 7, Dong-fu on 8, Seo-gu on 15, and Nam-gu on 23.

The city delivered the purpose of the talks is to seek out cooperation plans by meeting the officials who are able to listen to citizen's voices often.

Major Kang said, "I expect that the meetings will help the district officials to convey vivid messages," adding, "And I hope to have regular meetings with not only the officials but also citizens to make their voice heard."
