The Gwangju Public Health and Environment Research Institute revealed on Jan. 27 that the institute received 'reliable' in a quality assessment under the National Institute of Environment Research (NIER) operated by the Environment Ministry.

The institute acquired the verifications for quality assessment in all eight sectors, being recognized for credibility.

The quality assessment is divided into the level of experience test and field assessment, pursuant to laws related to environmental tests and reviews.

In the meantime, the researchers had 86 items in eight sectors, such as air and the quality of water, qualified for 'reliable' in the test from February to October of last year.
