Untact Trade Integration Show (UTIS) 2023 opens to help SMEs in South Jeolla province (Jeonnam-do) explore new sales channels.

'UTIS in Gwangju Jeonnam 2023' started on June 25 and will run until 27 for 3 days at Kimdaejung convention Center, according to Jeollanam-do.

Jointly hosted by Gwangju Jeonnam Venture Business Association and Online Business Association and sponsored by Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional SMEs and Startups office and Gwangju Regional Public Procurement Service, UTIS in Gwangju Jeonnam 2023 is attended by 50 SMEs from every corner of Korea including Jeju island.

Under the theme of 'Ecommerce Trends', the trade show was designed to offer chances to identify sales opportunities to B2B and B2C companies.

Most of the participants are ecommerce retailers, online group-buying business owners, and online influencers.

Taking this opportunity, Jeollanam-do set its sights on widely advertising excellent technologies and products of its regional companies and boosting the local economy while creating more jobs.

During the trade show, the province co-hosts 'Honam Startup & Franchise Expo' as well.

With these events, it plans to vitalize the regional retail market by encouraging the exchange of startups' success stories and promoting new business ideas, which will eventually go a long way to creating a sound retail ecosystem in Jeonnam-do.
