Gwangju-si will give special incentives to key strategic industry companies who invest in the region's automobiles, artificial intelligence (AI), energy, and semiconductors.

Gwangju-si announced on August 2 that the revised "Enforcement Rules of Gwangju Metropolitan Government Ordinance on the Promotion of Investment Attraction' will go into effect on August 4.

When companies located in other regions complete making investment in Gwangju, the location subsidy, which was supported within 20% of the sale price of the industrial complex, will rise to within 30%.
