'KEET 2023(2023 Korea Environment & Energy Trade Fair)', the biggest climate, environment, and energy fair in Honam, opened at the Kim Dae-jung Convention Center in Gwangju on September 6.

It is hosted by Gwangju City and Jeollanam-do Province and organized by Gwangju Tourism Organization, KOTRA, Korea Energy Agency, Jeonnam-do Environmental Industries Promotion Institute, and Gwangju Green Environment Support Center.

It has combined the "SWEET (Solar, Wind & Earth Energy Trade Fair)," a renewable energy exhibition, and the "International Climate and Environment Industry Exhibition," an exhibition specializing in climate technologies.

It will showcase new technologies and the latest information in the new and renewable energy field such as solar (heat), energy efficiency, smart grids, wind and electric power and the climate environment field such as air pollutants, water resource management, and resource circulation industries.

Public corporations such as Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO), KEPCO KDN, and Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation, and companies such as POSCO, KIA, and Marine Energy have set up 500 booths.

Overseas buyers from Australia, China, Indonesia, and Croatia and others will also participate to hold consultations with domestic companies to explore ways to discover overseas sales channels.

The "Global Photovoltaic Conference" hosted by the Korea Photovoltaic Society and the "Innovation Workshop for Water Management and Water Industry Development in the Age of Climate Crisis" by the Korea Water and Wastewater Works Association will also be held.
