The 21th International Photonics Convergence Industry Exhibition opened at the Kim Dae-jung Convention Center in Gwangju on November 15 for its two-day schedule.

Under the theme of "Homo Photonics, The light enchants my life," the exhibition will be participated by 121 companies and organizations and buyers from 15 countries.

There will be theme halls such as new technologies hall and excellent products hall, corporate exhibition hall by sector, export consultations, academic conferences, and experience zones.

The products to be showcased include: camera module for autonomous vehicles and metaverse by LG Innotek's; camera lens for satellites by Green Optical; and walking analysis system by Optonix.

Gwangju-based Tronix signed an export contract worth USD 10 million to provide public lighting management system based on smart streetlight Internet of Things (IoT) to the city of Chirchiq, Uzbekistan.

APACK signed an export contract worth USD 3 million with Japan's Swico Topline, while Daon C&T and Opto Marine signed an export contract worth USD 1.5 million with Japan's Lisdan Chemical.
