According to Yonhap News,

Six Gwangju-based start-ups have received the world's most prestigious CES Innovation Awards.

On November 26, Gwangju-si announced that local companies including inDJ, Intflow, Dabida, MEMS, ECOPEACE, and Ghost Pass were announced as the CES Innovation Award Honorees ahead of opening of the CES 2024.

The award is presented by the US Consumer Technology Association (CTA) to products with excellent technology, design, and innovation ahead of CES, the world's largest electronic and ICT convergence exhibition held in Las Vegas in January every year.

Gwangju-si said that inDJ, Intflow, and Dabida received support from Gwangju Metropolitan City in preparation for their participation in the event, while the other three companies developed their capabilities through local start-up support programs.

Gwangju-si selected 13 local companies participating in next year's fair in August this year, providing advice about innovation awards and practical marketing training.

The city plans to help exhibition of local companies by operating the Gwangju Joint Hall and the Korean Pavilion during the event.
