The "2025 Gwangju Future Industry Expo," which provides an overview of the current and future representative industries of the Gwangju region, will be held on June 25-28 at the Kim Dae-jung Convention Center in Gwangju.
Co-hosted and organized by the City of Gwangju and the Gwangju Tourism Organization, and supported by the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy, this event is the largest industrial exhibition in the Honam region, integrating the International Green Car Exhibition, International Manufacturing Technology (PPURI) Fair, International IoT ·Appliance ·Robot Fair and Drone/UAM Exhibition.
Around 270 innovative companies will operate 570 booths, showcasing the latest technologies such as future mobility, robotics, and home appliances, and providing opportunities for the general public to experience them firsthand.
Hyundai Motor and Kia will present key technologies for building next-generation software-centric factories (SDF) through their "Technology Tech" section, including AMR/MPR (Logistics Mobility Robot) technology, demand-based vehicles (PV5), and models of vertical take-off and landing UAM (Future Air Mobility).
Additionally, the "Future Industry Convergence Forum" will showcase advanced technologies, including AI convergence mobility technologies and humanoid robots.
Export consultation meetings will also be held in connection with KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency) and the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency.
Job opportunities for job seekers, including youth and women, will be provided through the "Gwangju Together JOB Festa."
On the opening day, the event will be open until 8:00 PM, and general admission will be available from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM for free.
