According to Yonhap News,

On July 17, Gwangju-si and the Artificial Intelligence Industry Cluster Agency (AICA) announced the launch of the "2025 Citizen and Local Business AI Voucher Support Program," which allows citizens to directly experience AI technology.

The program aims to help local AI companies validate and enhance their technologies in real-life scenarios by providing citizens with vouchers that cover up to 90% of the cost. Applications for the program will be received until October 31.

This year, a total of 29 local companies will participate, offering a variety of AI services in seven sectors, including healthcare, education, transportation, and safety.

Citizens can experience practical AI technologies in their daily lives, such as dental alignment, mental health analysis, AI parking platforms, and child pedestrian safety devices.

Applications can be made through the AI Voucher website (www.aicavoucher.kr).

An official from the AICA stated, "We aim to spread AI technology into daily life and strengthen Gwangju’s status as an 'AI demonstration city through this program.'"
