According to Yonhap News,

On August 15, Gwangju-si and the AI Industry Cluster Agency (AICA) announced that they are now accepting applications for companies to move into the AI Startup Center within Gwangju Science Valley 3 AI-based Industry Convergence Complex.

The AI Startup Center is a dedicated space for fostering AI-based startups, offering state-of-the-art research and development (R&D) facilities, office spaces, and networking opportunities.

In particular, the center provides access to specialized equipment such as the GPU-based high-performance computing resources from the national AI data center and large-scale driving simulators. It also offers one-stop support for data production, opening, utilization, and testing.

For companies based in Gwangju, there are additional benefits, including a 50% discount on data center usage fees (limited to newly selected service companies) and a 30% discount on usage fees for testing equipment.

AICA director stated, "The AI Startup Center will become the heart of the Gwangju-style startup ecosystem, where technology, business, and people are organically connected."
