The "2025 Artificial Intelligence (AI) Gwangju Future Education Expo," which offers a glimpse into the future of Gwangju education in the digital age, opened on November 21 at the Kim Dae-jung Convention Center in Seo-gu, Gwangju-si.

Running until the 22nd, the expo shares the direction of AI and digital-based future education and is designed as an event where teachers, students, and citizens can all participate.

Following the opening ceremony, a keynote lecture was delivered by author Kim Young-ha on the topic of "Humanity and Creativity in the AI Era," emphasizing the importance of human creative capabilities in the changing educational environment.

At the exhibition, the Gwangju-type future classroom AI Factory classes were showcased, providing personalized lessons for students using AI and digital tools.

The AI Factory classroom helps students develop their digital learning abilities autonomously by utilizing various digital tools.

There were also exhibits related to educational information technology (EdTech) with the participation of both domestic and international big-tech companies, along with a hands-on experience zone for the AI-based teaching and learning platform Gwangju AI-ON.

Gwangju Superintendent of Education said, "This is a meaningful event to share the direction of future education with citizens. With a future education model where AI and humanity coexist, we will lead the transformation of school classes."
