Gwangju-based content companies recorded USD 126.9 million in export consultation results at the 2025 Asia TV Forum & Market (ATF) held in Singapore.
On December 8th, Gwangju Information & Content Agency (GICON) announced that it operated the Gwangju Pavilion at ATF held from December 3rd to 5th at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Center in Singapore.
Eight local content companies, including animation and film companies, participated in the Gwangju Pavilion . During the event, 120 business consultations were held, resulting in export consultations worth USD 126.9 million.
Studio Button signed a contract worth KRW 300 million at the event, while Studio Popcorn signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU), laying the foundation for entering the global market.
During the event, the participating companies visited two major media hubs in Singapore, Infinite Studios and Superpixel Animation Studio, and explored potential collaboration opportunities.
A business showcase promoting local content companies was held at the Gwangju Pavilion, attracting attention from media companies like Warner Bros and Discovery.
GICON Director said, "The participation in ATF 2025 was a significant opportunity for Gwangju content companies to take a leap from Asia to the global market. We will continue to support the establishment of overseas networks and marketing to help local content companies develop global competitiveness and achieve results."
