On December 10, Gwangju-si signed an 'Investment Agreement in the Asia Culture Center Investment Promotion District' with companies including Bookers, Arum Games, Mediascope, and Jidam Media at the City Hall.
These companies plan to relocate their headquarters from the metropolitan area to Gwangju and hire more than 20 local talents each.
Gwangju-si will provide administrative and financial support, while the Gwangju Information and Content Agency (GICON) will assist with facility and equipment utilization and the hiring of local talent.

Mediascope runs the smartphone-based social karaoke application "Sing It," with 850,000 subscribers, and creates content such as online auditions, duets, and K-POP contests.
Jidam Media is a broadcast production company that has produced 9 popular dramas such as "Love (Marriage and Divorce) 1-3" and "The Law Cafe," with over KRW 180 billion in IP business revenue.
The city expects this agreement to further enhance the competitiveness of tech and content industries of Gwangju, which aspires to be a representative city for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Hub City of Asia Culture.
Based on the Investment Promotion District in the Hub City of Asia Culture, Gwangju actively promotes attracting businesses by providing substantial tax benefits and financial support.
In the past three years, 19 content companies have established operations in Gwangju.
