The event that marks the 100-day countdown to UEA Gwangju Summit was held on July 4 at the outdoor stage of Kimdaejung Convention Center.

With the theme of `Go! Go! UEA', the event was joined by about 300 people including organizing staff, supporters and citizens.

Participants planted young sunflower, which symbolizes solar energy and green city Gwangju.

The sunflower will bloom around the timing of the summit.

UEA Gwangju Summit will be held from October 12 to 13 at Kimdaejung Convention Center under the theme of 'Green City, Better City'. Around 70 countries will participate to talk about eco-friendly policies and implementation.
