According to Yonhap News,

Gwangju city will export the city-produced LED products with 'Made in Gwangju'(MIG) trademark on.

Gwangju city said that it registered the MIG trademark to the Korean Intellectual Property Office. Accordingly, MIG trademark will be put on LED products manufactured in Gwangju city.

In April, Kang Un-tae, mayor of Gwangju city, visited the US and signed MOU (USD 5.25 billion) with local LED distributors.

The city also signed LED export contracts with LAB23(USD 2 million), IMAGO (USD 50 million) and Lenser(USD 80 million).

Mayor Kang said that the first shipment of MIG labelled LED products will be in this December.
