According to Yonhap News,
Bahk Jae-wan, minister of Strategy and Finance, pledged to provide support international conferences held in Gwangju and Jeonnam.
Gwangju Chamber of Commerce said on July 25 that its president Park Heung-seok asked minister Bahk to give more funding to international conferences held in the region.
In a breakfast meeting, minister Bahk pledged financial support to F1 Grand Prix, Gwangju Summer Universiade and Yeosu World Expo.
