Consumer Sentiment Index in Gwanju and Jeonnam Stands at 104 in July

According to Yonhap News,

The Bank of Korea said that consumer sentiment indices(CSI) in Gwangju and South Jeolla Province(Jeonnam) stand at 104 in July, the same as in June.

This is the result from the survey on 375 households in the region.

Current living condition CSI is 89, and living condition projection CSI is 97, up 1 point from the previous month.

Household income projection CSI declined by 1 point to 76. Consumer spending projection CSI increased 1 point month-on-month to 109.

Current economy CSI is up 4 points to 77, and economic projection CSI is up 2 points to 86.

Respondents cited prices level(75%), external factors such as exports and exchange rates(9%), labor market condition(8%), asset values(3%) as factors that will affect the economy in the future.

Consumer sentiment index over 100 indicates that the economic condition is above the average, and the index below 100 represents the opposite.
