According to Yonhap News,

Gwangju Techno Park(TP) and Primo Co. signed an export MOU with ASSEM Enterprise, a Philippine vehicle products maker, on August 31 and September 1.

Gwangju TP also signed a MOU with Philippine Korean Traders' Association, under which they cooperate to establish Gwangju Techno Park Philippine Business Center.

Under the MOU, Primo Co., a LED lamp and accessory maker in Gwangju, is expected to supply its products to the Philippine for the next 5 years.

Yoo Dong-kuk, head of the TP, said that the Techno Park is considering ways to help local SMEs to pioneer overseas market, and pursuing the construction of Gwangju TP Business Center, which is in charge of overseas marketing on behalf of Gwangju SEMs.

Gwangju TP is expected to visit Iran and Indonesia to host meetings of 2012 International Robot Olympiad and 2013 Asian Science Park Association, and seek ways for local optical communication operators to participate in the optical communications project in Australia in this December.
