According to Yonhap News,

Around 100 cities home and abroad are expected to participate in the UEA Gwangju Summit.

Among them, 43 cities completed a registration process.

The organizing committee will hold a meeting on September 19 to check preparation.

The construction of buildings for the summit is in the final stage.

An official from the committee said that the committee will make an utmost effort for the successful hosting of the summit.

The UEA Gwangju Summit will be held from October 11 to 14 at Kimdaejung Convention Center under the theme of 'Green City, Better City'.
