According to Yonhap News,

Gwangju City has been selected as the host city of the World Korea Business Convention, according to the steering committee of the event.

The annual event is held by the Organization for Overseas Korean Businessmen to enhance the competitiveness of Korean businessmen all around the world through establishing a network between Korean businessmen doing operation abroad and those in Korea.

The international event where about 3,000 businessmen including 1,500 from 40 countries participate has supported domestic businessmen advance into the global market.

Gwangju, Busan and Jeju joined the fierce competition to organize the 2013 World Korea Business Convention.
