Mayor Kang Visits Turkey to Host the 2019 FINA World Aquatics Championships

According to Yonhap News,
Gwangju City Mayor Kang Un-tae visited the World Aquatics Championships, organized by the Federation Internationale de Natation (FINA) and held in Istanbul, Turkey, from last Wednesday to Saturday to host the 2019 FINA World Aquatics Championships in Gwangju.
Mayor Kang had a luncheon with members of the FINA to promote what makes Gwangju a perfect candidate for hosting the championships in addition to presenting the city's preparations for the 2015 Gwangju Summer Universiade.
The FINA World Aquatics Championships is swimming-only and is contested in a short course of 25-meter length pool.
