(GWANGJU=NEWSIS) Gwangju City announced Oct. 28 to hold an online launching ceremony for the smart road environment citizen monitoring group via BAND.

Since the ceremony was held online, the members of the monitoring group could attend the ceremony without leaving their offices.

The monitoring group finds errors and difficulties of 2336㎞ long road of Gwangju, which will be posted online via internet or applications to share contents, images, texts and videos.

At present, about 250 citizens are participating in the monitoring group. The goal is to extend the monitoring group so that up to 1,000 citizens can take part in the group.
